Its time to highlight something Green

Efforts to “Go Green” seem to be sweeping the nation…. so we’ve decided to join in on the fun! To show our support, we will launch a new section on www.microgiving.com called Something Green which will feature a body of forward-thinking green initiatives.

Something Green!

Its time to highlight something Green,
Not eggs, or ham, or Lima beans.

But something Fun! Something Tastic!
Something that recycles plastic!

So hark the herald, angels gleam!
Glorious green laurel—

To this eco-friendly team!

Stay tuned for our first spotlight.

  1. I love this idea!!

  2. Now more than ever, is the time to be recourseful, and use what God created for us..
If people would eat that which the Lord provided naturally for us, how healthy would we all be?

As I said before, I don’t have a green yard, but plenty of room to grow veggies in pots around my front yard.
I once saw a man here in san diego, who had been a gardener for the Queen of England….

In the front yard, he had bananna trees, every kind of veggie, and flower, incorporated into the yard…it was beautiful..

What did he use for mulch?

He had saved coffee grounds, and newspapers…

damp newspapers, and cut in diced small squares…he added that to the coffee gounds, and whallah! That was his secret for the success of his beautiful, nourishing garden..

Can’t wait to get mine going..

    oh, and pumpkins are FUN!
