Intercession Food Pantry

Intercession Food Pantry in Ft. Lauderdale is in need of a lot of help to raise funds in order to move to a larger more suitable place so they can continue to provide food to those less fortunate. Many of the people that come to the food pantry are not homeless, but have low income jobs and cannot pay for food, electricity, and other necessities. Intercession Food Pantry has helped people in the greater Ft. Lauderdale area over the past several years and would like to continue its efforts. The pantry receives goods from organizations and churches however, it is not enough to cover food and rent from month to month.

The pantry distributed 120,000 pounds of food over the last year and it now uses over eight refrigerators and a stand -up freezer to keep the food fresh. The pantry operates under the U.S. poverty guidelines. Most of the clients are Haitian, veterans, or the mentally and physically impaired.

The managers of the pantry have not announced the possibility of it closing because for most people that go there it is hard to get by day to day. They have limited time to secure a new location and move the pantry so please donate and help make a difference in the lives of those who really need it.

Your donation will go toward the cost of securing a new location and moving expenses as well as toward future rent. Intercession food pantry is a registered 502(c)(3)

Please donate and share this via social media and friends. You can help us make a huge difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
