A lesson in giving
A couple of months ago our very own John Ferber decided to go for a ride and grab a quick bite. On his way back from Burger King he noticed a man on the side of the road, the man was homeless, and asking for anything one could spare. So John, with a few dollars left over decided to pull over and give it to the hungry man. Of course he was delighted with Johns generous gesture. As John pulled away he glanced in his mirror to see where the man was, but to his surprise he didn’t see him anywhere. John stopped and looked around but there was no sign of him anywhere, so John decided just to go home and enjoy his burger. As John started to drive away he was stunned with what he saw, the car in front was barreled into by another car. If he hadn’t stopped to give to the homeless man, that could have very well been him that was hit. Some people don’t believe in what goes around comes around, but not John, not after that experience. We may not have a lot to give, but we all have some way we can help. Maybe it’s just a few dollars, maybe it’s your time, or maybe it’s just a simple compliment to stranger who looks sad. If everybody just spreads a little bit more love and positivity it will make everyone’s day just a little bit better, after all we are all in this together. And feel free to report to the forum and report what you did to make someone’s day a little bit brighter, we’d love to hear the story.
Thanks,

This is very special to me…When we were children…My mom taught us, that we should never turn away anyone who needs our help..because it could be Jesus, or one of His angels, asking for it…..and that always stayed with me..I have always felt so blessed in this World…and for those who have given to me, they are usually paid back, ten fold..and vice versa…I never expect anything in return..I give from my heart…the only thing I hope is that they know that I have given to them because of my love for Jesus, and for God..
Here are some really good scriptures, about what the BIble says about those that give, how blessed they are and how good they are in God’s eyes…
He gave us his only begotten Son,…we can show our love for Him, when we turn around and try to heal His lost children,.with a simple show of genorosity..
I can honestly say,…that for any small amount that I have given,…the Lord truly, has blessed me a thousand times over…even now,…I refuse to lose faith in God and Jesus and They never fail me..
Read these scriptures…and no matter how down you may be feeling,..just keep on helping each other…and know that He is watching you, and have faith…
Blessed are John and Michelle…for doing what they are doing here…trying to connect all of us and helping out in hard times…I know that they are Children of God and He will keep blessing them..
God bless all of us! Stay Strong!

I have found out that when I feel I don’t have anything to share with others if I just walk in a room and share a smile it makes life more wonderful for many. Sometimes just a simple hello, a smile or just opening a door brings a lot of sunshine into someones life. Never think you don’t have anything to give. Yes, it would be nice to be able to give money or gifts but, start out with something small and simple and God Blesses you each time.
Blessings to all who read this and know you are cared for. The best thing to do when you are down is smile and you have shared the best gift that can be given.

You’re so right…MJ…a smile can give someone hope sometimes..
I know that just some compassion,…and a shoulder to cry on…can make you feel like there is hope…when things are going bad for you…
Try to forgive the people that might have put you in the postition you are in, if in fact, they are partly to blame..
Put the bad behind you…and hopefully,…
You will look forward to the future.
Today I will give what I can…. I will not look at yesterday and smile for a good tomorrow. May my heart stay focused on love to others and may I have the strength to forgive those who have done me wrong.
May I give a smile to someone who is hurting… May I not lose hope for a better time to come.
Reach inside and you will find that you have so much to give just by being you….
