100% of your donation goes directly and immediately to the recipient of your choice. How you ask? As a privately-funded charitable organization, MicroGiving relies solely on the generous philanthropic support of its founder, John Ferber.

2. Do I have to join to browse the recipient profiles?
Absolutely not! Guests and members alike may search and browse the recipient profiles listed in the MicroGiving database, though access to any particular profile may be limited for guests.

3. Do I have to join to make a donation?
No, becoming a registered member of MicroGiving is only required for our recipient members. Donations can be made anonymously by selecting a recipient and following our quick and easy direct donation process. We do, though, encourage all our charitable donors to take a few moments to register a profile with the MicroGiving community. This will make any future donations easier and allow you to make use of our technology to keep track of all your donations.

MicroGiving offers extensive search capabilities. Search criteria include; location, cause, category, and keywords to name a few.

6. Can I customize my public profile information?
Yes, you choose what profile information you wish to share within the community. At the end of the registration process, MicroGiving allows you to choose exactly what information becomes available for viewing to others within your account settings. MicroGiving recommends that you never publicly share any information that would identify you personally or locate your exact place of residence or phone number.
