MicroGiving is for everyone! Individuals, fundraisers, and even non-profit organizations can participate.

No, of course not! MicroGiving is for anyone who would like to share and receive no matter what their cause.

Absolutely! Each registered member has complete control over the access to the information on their profile. MicroGiving offers a number of different privacy levels that our members can use to customize their profiles. Members share only what information they are comfortable letting others view. These options are located under "account settings".
MicroGiving also utilizes Verisign, the leading provider of commercial public key encryption technology. Verisign provides a highly secure layer of data encryption that enables secure transactions and maintains the confidentiality of your personal information over the Internet.

4. How can I become listed in "Featured Profiles" section?
Featured Profiles are hand selected by the MicroGiving Team periodically throughout the month to spotlight those individuals and charitable organizations that we feel deserve attention. Stay active to stay in our face and you're more likely to end up there.

5. May I list outside account information?
No, you are not allowed to list any bank account information on the site anywhere. Furthermore, you may not request to have money deposited in any account outside of MicroGiving.

6. Can I create a profile for someone else as to fundraise for them?
Yes, you can fundraise for somebody else but you cannot create a profile in their name. You must supply documentation for the cause or individual just as you would a personal request and all donations will be sent directly to the intended recipient.
