My first day on MG

My first day on MGWell, today is the first day I have figured out the journal:) I posted my request and sent all my paperwork in so hopefully I can get some help. I know that I'm not the worst on here medically wise or financially and I understand that.
I just know that the only way I can help myself get the medical treatments I need is to stop having to depend on others. They are great, don't get me wrong, but they do have lives of their own so it's very hard for them to rearrange their schedules around me.
I had an appointment for a CT scan of my head at the hospital for tommorrow morning, I had to reschedule it-No ride. It really bothers me, to have to depend on someone else, people used to depend on me to do stuff for them. I guess it's being payed forward but I've always beed the "giver" not the "taker".
One thing I am very excited about is meeting new friends on MG. I live alone and don't go anywhere so my computer is really my only outlet to the world. Just having someone to talk to once in a while is the best medicine!!:)
