I'm home and ALIVE!!

I have to say it feels good to be alive!!
I just spent 13 days in the hospital due to my depression and attempting suicide. 3 of those days were in ICU. I guess I died once but they brought me back. This was very scary because I have not done this before.
It's strange that I can offer help to others who need it but I don't help myself. I need to rethink that!
I'm back, I'm here, there's got to be a reason:)

Oh what a weekend!

Oh what a weekend!We held a yard sale this weekend:) It really was alot of fun. Lori and I decided while it was going on that maybe we should get some work around the farm done. Well, I can't do it right now( the dr just found out I have a protruding disc in my low back, hence the intense pain from it pressing on a nerve) and Lori can't do it because she has health issues too, so we called out the troops:)

It was great!! It's amazing what a bar-b-que will get accomplished. We got the outside pens built, the foot high grass cut just a whole lot of little things that I just haven't had the strength to do.

We sold quite a bit of stuff and after we got things squared up I made just a little over $100 to put in the bank to use. I am really excited about it.

This weekend is the town yard sale and we still have things left over so we'll do it again!

Time to mow the grass...and sneeze:)

Time to mow the grass...and sneeze:)I guess todays the day I mow my grass. I try to put it off as much as I can because of my allergies. If you can picture this-I'm mowing along and start sneezing my head off. Not too funny right? Well, I close my eyes when I sneeze and that doesn't work when driving a rider. I sneezed so many times in a row that I actually drove up and over a tree sapling before I knew what happened, really I did!! It wouldn't have been so bad but instead of just driving off of it I stopped, while I was still on it, and got off to see what to do. DUMB!! The tree kind of spung up a little and than it was really stuck. I had to call the neighbor, who couldn't stop laughing, to cut the tree to get the mower off!! Talk about embarassing!:) I still get reminded of it every spring.
