Any Donation Amount Will Help! After 2 months of fighting to save our little girl, the fight has been lost. In that fight we have paid out of pocket over $3,000 and still owe our vet and the emerg. vet over $3,500 between her bills and our other fur babies bills.
The emergency vet said her kidneys were not working and edema had started in her face legs and abdomen. She was 11lbs when we took her there and when we picked her up she was 13 lbs from all the fluids built up. They let us take her home on Sunday and showed us how to flush her iv and take care of her until we could take her to our vet Tuesday. We went by and got Lady and Grandma, my sister in law and grandpa said their goodbyes to her. Then we drove home. Every hour we gave her measured water and slept in shifts so that we would be able to make sure she was ok. She was aware of us and would look around when we talked to her but when we took here to our vet today, she started breathing a lot harder, and they did one last blood test to see if there was a change. But they said her kidneys were not working at all and it was time to let her rest.
We said our goodbyes and stayed with her the entire time. She’s resting and with her sister Angelia now and Pixie and all the girls are playing and waiting to see us at Rainbow bridge.
She was only 11 and would have been 12 in September. I miss you baby girl. My doodle.
