Update: 6/15/10 She is eating the food and drinking the water slowly by syringe. She is pedaling with just one foot now but the tremors are still pretty bad at times. She is resting right now.
UPDATE: 6/14/10
She is having non-stop tremors and mini seizures. If it is the RMSF it is in her nervous system and may be fatal. We have brought her home to be with her family after leaving from the Neuro and going by for her reg Dr. to see her. We have been instructed on how to syringe feed her and her all her meds and turning her over every 6 hours. the large seizures at this point have stopped, they said we had 2 options, go ahead and put her to sleep or take care of her and give the meds a little longer 3 days, a week at the most but at least 3 days for any signs of stabilizing. If she does not then it will only be right to let her go to rainbow bridge.
I am falling apart................

UPDATE: 6/12/10
8:00pm- Just talked to dr, she had another short seizure at 7pm, she is shaking and twitching again. my heart can't take much more.
snickers started seizing at 3:30am rushed to emerg vet, transferred to another emrg vet at 10 am, she is there now, it is the same building as the neuro she is seeing Monday, i was hyperventilating and my arms are tingly and I am shaking, I feel like a bus hit me. she had a test to see if she was bleeding into her brain, she is not. her blood is coagulating. They had her on valium but she kept seizing, was trying to wait and hear from Dr. irving, they took a sample of blood for the dr to look at and went ahead and they have her loaded on phenobarbital and she is now resting, calling to see how she is doing again at 9pm.
trying not to get worked up again and send positive vibes, trying.
