Meeting peopleI'm still trying to figure microgiver. I am just searching for people to meet. We'll see how it goes! :-)

The best way

The best way to meet people on MicroGiving is through the search tool on the tab bar, through the forum as you have already visited, and through the MicroGiving site blog where users are encouraged to comment. When you find a profile you like click the invite button under their avatar. This opens your profile to that person. If that person happens to find and like your profile and sends you an invite you will be mutually connected. When you visit member journals, make sure to hit the subscribe button for those you wish to follow, their journal updates will appear in your home page feed.
