Hello!

My name is Jason Cane and I am a student at the University of South Carolina.  I recently became friends with a student who, along with her brother, had been adopted and has not had the opportunity to return to her home country of Romania.  While her adoptive parents have taken the two on various other local trips and greatly wish to take them to to Eastern Europe, finding the means to fund such a trip has been difficult.  In fact, this student will be transferring following the end of her first semester here due to the cost of the university.  She works multiple days during the week to help pay for her education and is very considerate of her current financial status; she understands that she must transfer because it is a cost-efficient decision for her family.  I feel both she and her brother, along with all adopted children, deserve to visit their homeland before they reach an age where the magic of returning may have less of an effect.  I joined this site with the hope that I could receive a surplus of small donations and would reach my goal with funds to spare.  That way, I would of course return the favor by donating the extra money back to those on the site in need of assistance.  If you have any questions as to the validity of my cause or my level of responsibility in such matters, feel free to email me at CANEJ@mailbox.sc.edu or contact me through this website.  I'd be happy to talk with you, especially if it increases the chances of reaching my goal
