It's been a while since I've written in my journal here, about eigh months, so I thought I'd make an entry. A lot has been going on! So I'll tell you all about it. First, My mom finally got her SSI! Yay! and then We(me and my mom) applied for a USDA loan soon after. We have been approved to apply for a certain amount. I won't say how much it is but it should be enough to build a house or buy one. We are praying that we get approved and can start building our house before Christmas!&nbs...

To my microgiving friends, Here is how our Thanksgiving went- It wasn't a big family to do here, it was just me and my Mom, together this year. We had a lot to be thankful for too, because a great family donated us a whole turkey dinner! We were very surprised and grateful because that meant that my mother wasn't going to have to try to cook a turkey in a toaster oven, but she was going to try anyway if she had too. :) Not only that, but they also gave us a heater to help ...

I was 21 when I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called acute-intermittent-porphyria, in which I inherited from my father. I had seizures, and almost died before I got my diagnosis. Then my stepdad left us after I became bedridden and needed a caregiver. It was just me and my Mom after that, with me in bed and my Mom taking care of me everyday, she saved my life by the way.
