FundraisingBeleave in your cause, make sure it's worthy cause. With hard economic times, you will have to work hard. Technology is great for fundraising. Your best sites are microgiving.com and firstgiving.com.. Everyday you have to visit your sites. Communicate with people to let them know what you need. You have nothing to lose because you had nothing to start with. Don't be afraid of rejection.
Organize yourself, communicate, and most of all, make sure you add a picture. I feel kinda weird on donating money when the person hasn't bothered with a picture. Excuse me, your asking me to make an effort, and you hadn't made one yourself. What's up?
Work on the side. Use your community to donate food for a cookout. Make baskets for holidays. Go to the dollar stores and ask for donations for your cause. Maybe your receive a lot of donations, and you can raffle them off at a pub or bars. While your doing that, have someone walk tickets around and have a 50/50. That means, half the money for you and the other half for the cause. Business are always looking for causes. The more people are brought into thier business; the more people will drink and by food. It's a win win situration. Have a car wash. Talk to your churches.
