I sure have been busy and things have been tough, but I still have receiveed some wonderful blessings lately. I won tickets and meet and greet passes to see my favorite (and only) show, So You Think You Can Dance. My friend and I went last night and just had a blast.
I have been receiving wonderful emotional and spiritual support from friends, family, and people I have only met through the Internet. I am filled with gratitude for the people that are in my life in what ever manner that they are.
Lastly, I am inspired by John's work through Microgiving and for his donation to my cause. I really hope that he is getting out of this what he wanted, because kindness and a generous spirit should be rewarded in kind!
If you haven't already, please comment on John's wall (https://recipients.microgiving.com/profile/john) and let him know that you value his service to the community.

Microgiving has inspired me to try and find ways to make things better in my own community. I would like to figure out a way to create a local charity that does what Microgiving does for where I live (Murfreesboro, TN)- where locals could let others know their immediate needs and people from the community can decide who to help and how much. It's just a thought I had today. :)

Getting StartedOk, so I read about Microgiving on yahoo and thought that I should give it a try. I mean the worst that could happen is that nobody supports my idea (which wouldn't be the first time) and I move on. Plus, who knows maybe I can meet some people who can network me into other avenues. If nothing else it'll make another great story to tell my kid. Anyway, so my first request is in review, and hopefully once it gets approved I'll be on my way. In the meantime I've looked at a bunch of other requests that people have out there... all I can say is wow. There are some serious needs in the microgiving space. Times are hard for a lot of people. I'm trying to find some free money so I can donate to a few people myself. Maybe one of the things my business can do is start a fund that will help give back to Microgiving (assuming of course I ever get it off the ground). Ok, more later, I have to get back to work (I've been slacking off since 8 and it's now 9:30, I hate mornings!!)

My experience with paypal ... Boy did I make the blunder with paypal - I gave them the wrong information concerning my account - twice! I can certainly tell you that I feel pretty rediculous - but I do have my site in better order than it was previously. I have gotten the code installed on the site that will make it better able to see the frequency of visitors to the site altogether. I am also taking a free class that is being sponsored by Moodle.org and Humboldt State University.
In the past month or so the shelter that I was in moved the women out to create an all men shelter for more than 50 men. They moved us into another shelter across town and have us sequestered in our rooms from 7 pm until 7 am the next day. We are not allowed to mingle with the regular residents, we get one meal and if your later than 7:30 pm you get nothing. We are not allowed to use the laundry facility on site. So, although grandfathered into this place from the shelter that we were in and it being farther to walk to - I stay away and try to do more of my work online and I still camp (sort of). But I do try to come into this new place every 3 to 4 days in order to shower and get proper sleep for at least a night.
Today is the present and tomorrow is a gift,
