I sure have been busy and things have been tough, but I still have receiveed some wonderful blessings lately. I won tickets and meet and greet passes to see my favorite (and only) show, So You Think You Can Dance. My friend and I went last night and just had a blast.
I have been receiving wonderful emotional and spiritual support from friends, family, and people I have only met through the Internet. I am filled with gratitude for the people that are in my life in what ever manner that they are.
Lastly, I am inspired by John's work through Microgiving and for his donation to my cause. I really hope that he is getting out of this what he wanted, because kindness and a generous spirit should be rewarded in kind!
If you haven't already, please comment on John's wall (https://recipients.microgiving.com/profile/john) and let him know that you value his service to the community.

Many blessings to be grateful for today!

Today I didn't feel very well and my job is in retail sales where I am on my feet for 8 hours interfacing with the public. Despite that my day turned out pretty good.
First a coworker shared her homemade lunch with me because she brought too much. Not only was it really good (chicken stir-fried rice), but I didn't bring enough food for the day and by helping me she made a huge impact on how the rest of the day turned out.
Then another coworker had brought in four bike computers that weren't working on her particular bike and game them to me to see if any would work on my bike. Now, I don't own a car and do 95% if my commute, errands, and recreation by bike, so this is a big deal for me! Hopefully one works, but even if they don't, she still made me feel good for thinking of me.
I am also grateful that I managed to escape being rained on during my commute today, especially since my commute include both work and grocery shopping. Whew!
There were a few other good things, but I have to run for now.
Just counting my blessings for the day and am feeling grateful!

I sent out an e-mail to many of my family and friends to let them know about my Microgiving account, but had thought that the best they could do was share my information.
I am so grateful to find out that one of my friends not only has the resources to help me out, but also was generous enough to do so. What a happy surprise!
A big hug coming to you "T" when I see you next! Thank you!
