This will be a journal of my life that I want to be able to show those who have sent me donations about what I have been doing with my life. I also hope that this journal helps those who are new to Microgiving as well.

This Is A Very Frustrating Day!

I have learned to be grateful for each day that God gives us and I truly believe that these trials that one has to go through are a test
!
A testing of our faith and a testing of our beliefs......................
I am trying really hard to make it through the day as I have been trying to make it through the past few weeks!
I have been so angry and frustrated and while I try to calm down when I think about it my anger comes back and increases!
So now its time to go back to my faith and back to my beliefs!
And I do believe that this is a test!

Somewhat Understand

But on the other hand you were offered a check for that $25. You asked for a payout when the transaction system was broken. We are all dealing with that issue. Donors can't deposit to donate and recipients can't withdraw their funds.

MicroGiving isn't the answer to your problems, it's only a tool to help. When a tool breaks you have to find another one or figure out how to take care of things without it. If the tool was given to you freely you can't go after the person who gave it to you because it broke.

My Reply

While all of this makes for interesting news it still doesn't get rid of the fact that I still haven't received my $25 donation - I was going to use it for food!

It is just too hard to be logical and reasonable when you have money that you can use for food but you don't have the money yet - you haven't received it. Rather I should say that I haven't received it.

I just can not be logical and reasonable about this because I really could use that money! Its not like its a thousand dollars - this is a $25 donation that someone made to me specifically back in May and I still haven't received it yet! That is why I'm feeling frustrated.

Just tried to comment on your blog

I don't know if you know it but there is a big problem with Paypal and many non-profits and businesses. There are many not taking PP for a very good reason. Ebay takes PP because Ebay BOUGHT Paypal and when they did they raised all the fees and made it so non-profits really couldn't use paypal unless they fit into a strict little mold. You will see that Ebay has a charity program where non-profits can raise funds for their NPO. Ebay has made the non-profit rules such that you are nearly forced to fund-raise through Ebay, many other NPO's are forced to downgrade to personal accounts to use Paypal and that is not okay with NPO treasuries who must report income/expenses on a state and federal level.

There is a good reason revolution money exchange, amazon, and other web pay systems are around now...Paypal has left out a huge sector of businesses and they are filling in the gap.
