This will be a journal of my life that I want to be able to show those who have sent me donations about what I have been doing with my life. I also hope that this journal helps those who are new to Microgiving as well.

The Weekend Is Here!

Tags: how i am doing

I say that because we are officially at the end of normal business hours on a Friday which means that there will be no more official business hours until Monday at 9am!
My situation is still the same in that I still haven't gotten the results that I wanted and now because of the heat and humidity I haven't been feeling very well.
Oh well, what can I do but to keep myself positive and take one day at a time! - because that is all that I CAN do!

it is still not resolved

I see that there have been some changes since the last time that I was here. I still haven't given up hope though to get my $25 donation.

not what you wanted???

What did you really think you are going to accomplish by smearing this all over. Everyone can see what you are saying and its ugly. Keep it to yourself. I am sorry you didn't get your money through paypal but they do have such things as check csshing places. You could go there and cash a check. If you are that hungry you would do so. Do you not think they are doing the best they can to resolve this as quickly as they can? Why keep this non-sense going. Stop being such a drama queen and for goodness sake stop biting the hand that is trying to feed you. IF you are that hungry take the check. They didn't have to offer that. If that is not good enough and you are so misserable why stay? All you are doing is making this site look bad. This is a DONATION site they are having technical problems at the moment it happens get over it. I think we are all tired of you whining about it. Grow up.

Not what you wanted

But you were offered a check for the $25 so you wouldn't have to go the weekend without any food. Many here have gone days without food and weeks on rice or ramen. Many of us know hunger, malnourishment and even starvation.

When someone is going to give you a $25 check to keep you from starving you could accept it and have a friend deposit the check for you, go to a church and explain you are without food, but have this donation from a 501c3 and ask if they will cash the check for you. Others mentioned going to the grocery store to cash the check if you purchase goods at their store.

I'm sorry..but you didn't have go hungry over the weekend. But many more will be going hungry because they didn't have the money already in their recipient accounts to even get a check.

I'm concerned you are letting your anger get in the way and just lashing out at MicroGiving...the very place that donated most of those funds.

I'm sorry...I was more sympathetic before you were offered a check, but I believe now it's your choice to be going hungry and lashing out. MicroGiving tried to help and it seems you are refusing the help they offered because it's not convenient to you.
