Its been awhileIm sitting here at 318 am and Im not tired. Most of my online friends are in bed and Im bored. The first frost may hit tonight, so we picked all the veggies we coulf from the garden that we knew would not survive a frost and now my kitchen is full of tomatoes and such lol. I fried up some fresh summer squash and had that as my meal and it was delicious, Im gonna miss it when it runs out of the deep freeze. Ive managed to bag about 20 one gallon freezer baggies full of veggies in the freezer right now, not including the stuff we've been eating over the summer daily, its really gonna hurt the wallet when they run out in a couple months and we have to start buying veggies again :( .
There are so many wonderful people here at microgving, most of whom I ve lost touch with, but I blame that on summer which has pulled many out of their houses and I know they will be back in full force once the weather makes them stay inside again.
We are freecycling home improvement items like mad! We have already installed to huge living room windows, a countertop- sink- faucet-, and we have picked up beatiful french doors for the hallway that we wont get to install til next spring, but also a front door, four more windows (2 dining, 2 bedroom) a dishwasher and we are supposed to go pick up a double oven (in the wall type) this weekend. God is being very good to us right now in our needs to winterize and modernize this trailer, and I thank him everyday for his deeds. He is a wonderful God isnt he?
Ive been the best hero I can be at wishuponahero - my stats now being a hero 133 times and 34 wishes granted. I have recieved much help needed there for gas money to get places, and money to help in home improvement. I know I have an active request here to help out monetarily because of our financial burden of garnishments to pay past debt, but Im not getting any help due to the overwhelming need of those who need homes and such from the flooding and natural disasters. Im better off than they are at the moment, so its really beautiful to see microgiving helping those that have lost their homes and belongings and hope.
Hugs and love to all who stop in to see my journal, and leave me a comment if you do, even if its just to say hullo! ~Sharey
