Biography
I joined GM 1977 in Pontiac. Through the years i've took a couple of college courses at occ. I enjoy photography, drawing, jigsaw puzzles, and my video game systems. So I can keep up with my fiance's grandsons and daughters.I got married the first time and was very much in love with her,but that was not enough and we divorced and I tried to stay with her at our house. Loaning her money for house note as well as as paying my end of the bills. I finally moved into an apartment and she eventually lost the house to forclosure. I met my fiance on the internet in a chat room we had alot of things in common, and we have been together for ten years. I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2006. My fiance Cecynthia was with me every step of the way.thru the dark days of chemo to going fishing these days sometime. these days I have to ride in a cart to get around the stores, because I get short winded. I asked VA to help me with a loan for my home, They refused citing my credit at the time was not good enough for the loan. They never checked my credit when I enlisted. I harbor anamosity and bitterness at the VA for this. So I wound up in a house that has its own share of problems. It reminds me of what they used to ask in the show Green Acres "You bought the Haney Place?" I had my family room dressed out very nicely, but when it rained the inside of my house was full with about 2 feet of water. Now there is mold behind small cracks in the walls, now the family room looks like there needs to be a car parked in there. It has no carpet now with cold unpainted cement floors, I can't afford to put carpet down because the money is not there. I had to file bankruptcy which shot my house note up to $1400.00 a month. Now that I've been in the house for 3 years I can't breathe the air in the house from all the mold. No one had said anything about the mold or the hause taking on water at closing. I tried to take them to court but the Attorneys said I didn't have a case. I joined Microgiving in the hopes that I could ask for enough money to get a home that is better for my condition. No one else seems to be able to help a Veteran.

Unfortunately we all need a little help from time to time and like
Rayhawk has said once you get to level 2 status you can start asking
for donations.
