Biography
For 11 years AMMAC has been providing for the poorest communities in Nuevo Leon, a Mexican state bordering Texas with a population of over 4 million strong with roughly half of that 4 million living in the capital city of Monterrey. Now with its new official status as a binational nonprofit AMMAC stands both poised and proud to expand its work to include and collaborate with communities and organizations in the United States, starting with those in and around San Marcos, Texas where we have just opened a new office.
AMMAC is not just one cause or one project, AMMAC is about compassion for all. From collecting and distributing over 160 tons of food every month to building green sustainable houses out of recyclable materials, we are always seeking new ways to provide opportunities and resources for those less fortunate than ourselves.

On 6/19/10 we visited the town of Naranjos in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and provided food, clothing, haircuts, dental and medical attention for almost 200 men, women, and children in the town of Naranjos in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
