Biography

My name is Cindy, I am 27 years old and live in Garland, Texas.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 9 yrs now and we have 2 beautiful kids together.
A couple years ago we also took guardianship of my beautiful cousin who is now 17. She was being dumped from place to place and we just got tired of it so we took her and it was the best decision cause as far as we are concerned she is OURS now.

I am here now cause my husband suffered job loss due to the economy and the company he was working for shut down the branch here. It took him a long time to find a good steady job and we had benefits and everything and then it was all gone. We are now doing what we can to keep our heads above water.

I am here for assistance and also to help if there is something I can help with.
I believe with all my heart that helping others is a wonderful thing and will always come back to you in a good way.

I helped many people in the past when we were fairly well off and I thank God everyday that I did cause if it was not for wonderful people helping my family off and on I would have given up by now.

My Purpose

My purpose at this point in my life is to honestly survive. It seems like each day life gets harder and harder and I am having trouble staying strong for my kids.
I want my family to be able to get on our feet and stay there without as many daily worries

In Need of a little gasoline help for Doctor appt for my daughter

Description: My daughter has a appt with a specialist on Thursday and its a hour away and I just dont have the gas money to get her there. I work 40+ hours a week and dont even make enough to cover bills and I had to pay my car insurance with last weeks pay and wont get paid in time again to take her. I drive a large SUV (its paid for so I stick with it) and gas is $3.22 a gallon. Any help to have gas to get her there would be greatly appreciated

Trying to move 400 miles by June

Description: After a year of struggling to survive in Missouri we made the decision to move to Texas to be near my husbands family. We KNOW that there our kids will ALWAYS be fed and clothed and taken care of, We just have not been able to make it here. We spent weeks just eating eggs and bread and I want my kids to have better, They will have family there that loves them and will always help us in a time of need. It was a hard decision but we are doing it. I am selling all of our furniture just to pay the bills these last 6 weeks here and what I am asking for is about $300 for us to rent a U-haul trailer to take those things I just cant part with and clothes etc and to pay for our gas there, Its 7 hours and about 450 miles away. We want to be gone by June 5th right after the girls get out of school. If anyone is willing to help us reach our goal of moving and taking our kids to a place where they can and will always be taken care of then I would appreciate it.

Description: My husband had finally found a REALLY good job in September and things were looking up for us, At the end of January we paid the deposit and rented a 3 bedroom townhouse apartment and signed the lease. A few days later my husbands company shut down and all employees were laid off and he had not worked there long enough to earn unemployment benefits but the lease was already signed. We used his final paycheck and our tax return to pay the rent for 2 months and moved in hoping he would find something else very quickly. He has put in many applications and signed up at several staffing agencies but has yet to get a job.

Glad to see you are getting some help!

Good luck.  If you have time you can look around for independent
truckers who are going that way to pick up a load.  This was how we
moved from NH to GA.  Some of these guys would be glad to collect a
little bit of money since they were already going that way.
