I was a single mom to two disabled sons.  The biological father was
abusive and with help we did escape and his parental rights were
removed.  Their step father went to prison when they were very young
which left me a single mom.  It's not easy but you can make it.  My
kids are grown now.  My oldest is 24 and in my care, my youngest is
nearly 20 and still at home while he tries to make it in the world in
spite of his genetic fragile x syndrome.  We are a very low income
family and when I leave this world the only thing I have to leave my
sons is strength.  I have taught them that life will be hard and you
might not have anything you want but with determination and strength
you will have what you NEED.  They are both survivalists like their
moms.  They will do just fine and so will your kids.  Just remember to
share your strength with them and also let them know that it's okay to
ask for help when you can't provide basic needs for yourself or
family.

now she's 13...Alot of sacrifices over the years especially in the
beginning but it works it's way out if you have the character, courage
and commitment to selflessly do it as best as you can...you'll get
