Biography
Hello! My name is Kristie! I am a 25 year old newlywed (January 7th was our 1 year anniversary). My husband and I met on eHarmony.com. He is from Canada. Here is our story:

We have done everything to try to be together. Originally, the plan was that I was going to immigrate to Canada and live there with him(temporarily with his immediate family). Here is the catch...his family didn't like me. I soon found that out after being there for a short period. After his mom punched me in the chest, Chris quit his job and decided that we were leaving for my safety. So with the last of our money we headed back to the U.S. where my parents invited us to stay with them.

Well, that was a good idea in theory. But, my dad didn't tell us that he was facing bankruptcy and about to loose the house and his car. So, this past year while we have been staying at my parents house, the house has been foreclosed on (it's being auctioned off on March 9), my parents filed bankruptcy and they lost 2 vehicles.

I've been looking for a job this whole time and have literally applied to hundreds of places with no luck. Time is running short and we may not have a place to live soon.

I've literally, tried so many things to get money. We have sold our clothes, delivered phone books and tried to get random misc jobs on Craigslist all while I've been applying to other places for full time or part time work. Chris can't work without a green card (or G.E.D. as well, his mom took him out of school in the third grade to help her with her "puppy mill"....which is sick on a whole other level), my parents can't help me go back to school, I can't get a school loan because I defered a school loan due to financial hardship.

The only way I can get us out of this mess is if I go to truck driving school and get a truck driving job. But, I can't get a small loan for $3,550. It's very frustrating!

If anyone could please help just a little, it would mean so much to us. We have no family that can help us or wants to help us.
My Purpose
All I want is to be happy and make my husband happy. I want to get a job, get him immigrated and get a place to live. We have so many needs that have been negleted for this year and it's starting to be a nightmare with all of it piling up.
My Interests
scrapbooking, quilting, crochet, my dogs, jewelry-making, fairies

About Chris:
Chris is from Ontario.  He has two younger brothers and an older brother.  All his brothers live at home with his parents.  His mom took them all out of school when they were young to run her puppy mill/keep her company.  T.J. got to go to 6th grade, Chris only 3rd, Ryan to kindergarten and Scott never got to go to school.  Long story short, Chris mom has some kind of sick, twisted prison ward and prisoner relationship with all her kids.

Chris is the luckiest, as he is the toughest and things didn't really scar him like the other boys (he is well adjusted, despite his upbringing).  As this is only his story I won't get into too much detail about how troubled his brothers are.  I'll just say that it is bad and totally breaks my heart.

Anyways, Chris's parents moved the kids out into the country an hour away from civilization in any direction when they pulled them out of school.&nb  >>>
