Biography

Used to work full-time as a Mental Health Therapist..working with those in need. I developed severe neck pain and discovered I require laser surgery that is not available in Canada, just Tamapa, Florida. My Government will not pay for this procedure in the USA....I need help to have this Laser Procedure completed so I can return to my job/life.

My Aunt passed last week...mom has a big sibling line and it seems that they are all at that stage of life. May she rest in peace, she was a caring and given women, who always put others first.! >>>

Improve quality of life

Urgent Health Care

Description: Donations to pay for Laser Spine procedure and cost for flight from home to Tampa for two - as I am required to have an assistant/friend with me.

My progress: I live in Chronic pain and I am medicated 24/7

This is a one time only expense assistance request for 1 adults

My message:I had to secure the above benefits and to this day I continue to fight the Ontario Government to get funding...it has been denied. I have no other means to cover this huge cost. I sent my MRI scans to Tamapa, Florida and consulted with them in person at my own expense. Now I require this high tech procedure as it is not available here and is the lowest risk of death for me during surgery! - Thank you - Randy

HI there - good luck to you.  I am a little intrigues by this laser
spine treatment..  Have you had traditional surgery?  I had shattered
L5 and had surgery, and wish I hadn't - I swear, it is more painful
now than before.  People without back pain have NO IDEA what it is
like.  I just wanted to let you know that I wish you the best and hope
you get your treatment soon - and that it works out well!

Thank you so much that is so kind.  I am trying to keep him safe
really at the moment.  With the brittle bones its not safe for him in
the school he was at so I am working hard keep him in a school that is
safe and can meet his needs.  He's my baby I have to do what ever I
can to help him.  Thank you for you kind comment.

You've got a great outlook. I just read your comment on this page:
"there are two key points to remember: be consistent and
persistent"! There's an amazing corollary between a
"healthy" mental attitude like yours and the improvement of
one's physical health! You should throw in: "Consistent,
Persistent, and Positive". You've got the formula Randy! Thanks

Stay the Course!I have learned over the years that, regardless of your
issues in life there are two key points to rememember: Be consistant
and persitant in acheiving your goals.
This applies to personal health issues, being poorly diagnosised
medically, work and your own list of issues in life, that you want to
acheive.
So stay the course my friends..never give up!

I see your request went live.  Best of luck to you, I hope you find
all the help you need.  It would be a great idea if you started your
MicroGiving journal so members can stay updated on your progress.  You
