My Purpose

Our baby is very ill and after trip after trip and test after test at our vet, then the emerg. specialist, we took her to a neurologist, the tests alone will be $800-$2000 not to mention if she needs surgery. The specialist thinks it is either Meningitis, A Tumor or Rocky Spotted Mountain Fever. She is not able to use her back legs nor use the restroom without our help.

UPDATE: 6/12/10
Snickers started seizing at 3:30am rushed to emerg vet, transferred to another emrg vet at 10 am, she is there now, it is the same building as the neuro she is seeing Monday, i was hyperventilating and my arms are tingly and I am shaking, I feel like a bus hit me. she had a test to see if she was bleeding into her brain, she is not. her blood is coagulating.They had her on valium but she kept seizing, was trying to wait and hear from Dr. irving, they took a sample of blood for the dr to look at and went ahead and
they have her loaded on phenobarbital and she is now resting.
8:00pm- Just talked to dr, she had another short seizure at 7pm, she is shaking and twitching again. my heart can't take much more.

Any Donation Amount Will Help! If we have anything left after she is better we will donate it to another group or fund to help other animals in need of medical help.

What I need and what brought me to MicroGiving:
We have already paid $750 and are making payments on $550 and another $762 we are out of money, we have pawned what we have and used our bills money.

My circumstance and my need for help:
I need help with my fur babies urgent health bills, she is at the emergency vet and will be transferred to the Dr Monday but we are all out of funds.

Any Supports other than Microgiving:
As of July 1 2010 requests will have an expiration date. If your request is for help with a bill, rent, or service that has a due date the due date will be your expiration date. If you are able to get an extension of that due date you will need to submit new documentation to show you still need help and that you have been given more time to pay the balance. Requests will run in 30 day cycles for general short term request and in 90 day cycles for general long term requests. Long term recipients who do not log in at least every 30 days to update the community or refresh documents will be disabled during the monthly request clean up. Disabled requests can be resubmitted for review with fresh documents to show you are still in need of help. Any Donation Amount Will Help! After 2 months of fighting to save our
little girl, the fight has been lost. In that fight we have paid out
of pocket over $3,000 and still owe our vet and the emerg. vet over
$3,500 between her bills and our other fur babies bills.

Angelica is just waking up at the vet, it was not a tumor, Dr. G is
not available to go over everything with us, so we are stunned and in
the dark right now, all we know is, she had a hernia and where it was
made her intestines necrotic, they had to take that part out. we do
not know how much they had to take or anything else right now. She has
to stay the there tonight.

This is not happening.... I just found a large bump on
Angelica's tummy, and she threw up, just got back from the vet after,
ultrasound, x-ray and blood work...she has a tumor and is going in for
surgery
Monday at 8am, gave us antibiotic and pain meds, we are having feed
her the a/d
and liquid diet stuff doddle is on , this is not happening?
