Biography
I am a single mom and a very sincere person. Devoted to my two kids, boy 14 and girl 11. I live a simple life, and enjoy the little things. I have gone through a world of hurt since my ex-husband and I spit up. He was my best friend, my soul mate (or so i thought). I struggle everyday to keep a roof over my family's head. I only have a two bedroom apt for three of us because three bedrooms are out of my price range. I have two bankruptcies on my record (thanks to ex hubby) and that prevents me from obtaining any kind of assistance from a bank etc. I have a huge car payment to endure because I could only get the high risk financing due to the bankruptcies and my payments are killing me. I am trying desperately to make it on my own, to stand on my own two feet. But as a single mom with a not so great credit history, nobody wants to give me a chance. I want so badly to provide for my kids and to be able to buy them clothes and stuff. It is a struggle, rent in the city is huge, and my car payment is putting me six feet under very quickly. I just need someone to believe in me, and get me started again. To help me get back on my feet so that I can continue on my own, and maybe help someone else who may be where I am today. I want to provide a future for my children but dont know how at the rate i am going. I need help, although I hate admitting that. I am stumbling, and I need a crutch to get back up again. Is there anyone out there who believes? Who can help me to get back on my feet?

FAVORITE QUOTES: If its worth making the effort, then definitely make the effort worthwhile.

We come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by finding that the imperfect person is perfect to us.
My Purpose
My purpose here, is to get some help getting back on my feet again. To get a fresh start in life, to be able to improve my credit score and give things to my kids. To live a life where i dont cry at night, to help others that may be in need. But first, I need help. Any help.

I am back...

Posted on Fri 18 Dec, 01:30 pm

Well, things did not work out so well for me.  I ended up losing my apartment, I just could not come up with the money in time.  I am still struggling to get my monthly payments caught up, and now living in a co-workers basement until i can find something better for me and my two kids.  Christmas is coming fast, and I have been able to get the kids a couple of things each.  They are so sweet and dont even want anything.  I recently was laid off from work, so things are tougher now.... this is the time when I really need to believe in my faith to God.  Hopefully he will see it to give me a bit of a breather.   In the meantime, I must keep going on.  I have been off of Microgiving for a while, just been a bit discouraged and trying to figure things out.  But I am back now..... let's see what we can do on here.  >>>

Once you are level three it's all a waiting game. Donors will log in
(usually hidden) and will search for recipients in their area of
interest. Some prefer helping only in medical, some only non-profits,
some with food etc. It all depends on the donor. If your profile is
in the category s/he searches the donor will then decide based on your
profile, photos and journal entries.

Promoting Off Site is encouraged. We all need to bring donors to
MicroGiving. It's a huge world...not all of the donors in the world
know MicroGiving even exists so promoting your request on other sites,
forums, blogs, chats etc is the best you can do for yourself and your
peers.

I am so happy your request went live again. I was wrapped up in the
donation thing I didn't tell you. I know it was a wait but it was
worth it. Hang in there you will find a rainbow.

you have to use the journal and pray that someone will see your cause
and want to help. You can't promote it but you can write in your
journal to keep everyone updated. Put pictures in your media and that
is about all you can do. there is a topid in the forums discussing
this very thing.

Not many do enjoy asking for help. It's never easy but you are among
many who understand that. Don't feel alone.
Becky Raymond: Administrator Apr 23, 2009 06:06:30
Your request is visible on your profile, donors will see the donate
button. Recipients don't see that. They will see your request when
they search for areas of charity they wish to be involved in, housing,
medial, animal, etc

Your request is active and if anyone chooses to donate they can, but
to have the funds released to your paypal account you will have to be
verified. Donated funds are not automatically deposited to your paypal
as they come in.

Copy of valid photo ID, unedited, front/back

Proof of income (pay stubs or benefits letters)

Proof of basic expenses (bill receipts, or current bills showing last
payment received)

Proof of need, in this case your eviction notice would do the trick.

Proof of what you are doing on your own to satisfy this need, (local
organization, other online fund raisers, bake sales etc..)

All things are verified, they must be original, unedited documents
with clear addresses and phone number contacts. If you want your
originals returned send a SASE and photocopies.

Have you sent in your verification documents yet?

Hello to everyone who views/considers my plea. I have to say, i have
only been on the site for a few days. And I have much to learn. But
I love it already. I thank ANYONE who can assist me in any way at
all. And I am very much looking forward to the day when I can help
other people who are where I am right now. What a tremendous offering
this site is. KUDOS to John Ferber, a sheer genious, and a gift from
GOD..
Thank you again, to all who consider my plea..
And if anyone has any tips for a newbie like me.. feel free to pass
them along to me! :)
