Biography
I am a 25 year old mother of 3 boys. Jonathon age 8yrs, Dylan age 3 yrs, and lil' Davy age 4 months. I have a great fiance, David.He is a veteran of the first gulf war. We have been together for 3 years. He has helped make my life so much better. Although our family is going through some struggles now, we are still a close family, and do everything we can to keep it that way. I think being a happy family means alot.
Description: We are a family of 5 in desperate need of some financial help. We are 2 months behind on
our power bill, and also a few months behind on our house payment. We have 3 small
children. My fiance is a veteran of the first gulf war, and has always supported us
financially until he lost his job due to back problems. I have been trying so hard to find
a job with no luck yet. We have 3 boys ages 8, 3 and 4 months. So, it's very
important we don't get our power shut off or kicked out of our home. If we could get
some help we would be so thankful.
My progress: I continue to look for work every day of the week. If we don't have money to go out
and look,I get online and fill out applications. Even though I have 3 small children to
raise, I want to work that way I can get some kind of income coming in our home. We do
recieve food stamps now. That helps out alot!
This is a short term need assistance request for a family of 2 adults & 3 children
My message:We are a family of 5 and in desperate need of help. I was told about this site by someone we go to church with, and told that I might be able to find the help we need here. I pray we can!! We are so far behind on our house payment that it's in pre-foreclosure.We are also really far behind on our power bill. We have 3 small children and just don't have no where else to turn to. Please, if we can get the help we need here let me know what I have to do.

Do you qualify for any additional help?: I qualified for food stamps, and I do get them now. I have also signed up for TANF, but they haven't approved me for it yet.
What local/other agencies have you contacted?: Social services, Burke united, and the salvation army
Did you get denial letters? (if so are they attached to your request?): No, I did get told were we have no income at all they would not help with our power bill,but the salvation army told me they would donate $100.00 if we could get the rest of our power bill, but nobody will help us pay our house payments.
What other sources of income do you or your family receive?: None
