Biography
My husband and I are in a really bad situation. We are staying in a hotel paying $185 a week. Work at my husbands job is really slow and we just can't seem to save enough money for a home. All of our income tax went to buying a car because the motor in our last car blew. Now we are left with no money to find a home. We have two children our daughter is 3 and my step son is 8. Our daughter lives with us and my husband get's my step son every other weekend. So it's very hard to find a place to keep my step son when we have him. We would just like to have a home of our own so we don't have to worry anymore. We really need help asap so we can stop spending my husbands pay checks on rent. And get us and our daughter out of this hotel room. My husband also makes too much for assistance we've already gone that route. We have been stuck here for about a month and just want out. Please help! Once we get back on our feet my account will be changed to fiving instead of recieving. I am the kind of person that will give the shirt off of my back if I need to. So if you help me out I will be sure to one day help you out.

Description: I would like to raise $1,500 to be able to pay for rent and security and to pay my storage
bill before they start selling my stuff. My storage bill is now $175.00. So even that
right now would be ok. I have a lot of personal items in there that can't be replaced and
I have nowhere to go with them right now.
My progress: I have had no luck ANYWHERE. My husband an I can't get help from hud,housing,section 8,
welfare, churches, salvation army. I've tried all of those. Nobody can help us get what we
need.
This is a one time only expense assistance request for a family of 2 adults & 1 children
My message:If someone could help I would really appreciate it a lot. And once we are on our feet I WILL be back on this site to help someone else that is in need.

Do you qualify for any additional help?: no the section 8 is closed, the housing authority is only helping those who need one bedroom, efficency and 5 bedroom homes.
What local/other agencies have you contacted?: Salvation army, hud, housing, welfare, churches and section 8.
Did you get denial letters? (if so are they attached to your request?): not yet I'm not sure I will even get one because the site says that all other applications will be discarded.
What other sources of income do you or your family receive?: just my husbands measly paycheck.
