Biography
I am currently a student in the Human Services Program at Kellogg Community College. My passion is helping people who dont have the resources to help themselves. I find myself constantly searching the web for help and information for teen moms, single parents, elderly, and children. Every new site opens a new door and new possibilities for the people I work with and I am so greatful for that opportunity.
My Purpose
I am a single SAHM to two girls. I had my first daughter when I was 16 years old and she has just celebrated her own 16th birthday. Since the time I found out that I was pregnant, I vowed to help other kids who found themselves in my situation. To this day I spend a considerable amount of time trying to help teen parents become productive members of society. My current goal is to help save our community Boy's and Girl's club which is near closure due to financial problems. This club serves a very poor population including a safe haven for some of these teen parents.

They have fallen into deep financial trouble and have had to cut staff. This makes it hard to be a safe place for kids when you don't have the proper number of adults to supervise these children. Programs are being cut and these kids depend on this club for dinner each night. Please help with this cause, its very important to our community.

Raising Funds for Boy's and Girl's Club
Description: We are trying to get our club up and going. The last people who had it mistreated their power and got greedy! Our club is now ran on 100% volunteers so that ALL money goes to the kids! Please help us keep afloat this time! We are just shy of our 1,000 kids mark and every penny helps to keep the club running!
