Biography

I am a 30 year old mother/wife, that started an organization to help others based on my deceased mother's life. She grew up poor; was taunted and teased-always being put down. After she became an adult she made it her mission to help others in need{I never went without a thing, she took excellent care of me}; I just want to continue where she left off...no one should have to go through that!

My Purpose

I want to share my life with others, be an inspiration to kids going through rough times. Let people know someone does care, and they can count on me. All in all just be supportive to people in need.

Uncomfortably Content

Uncomfortably ContentLife is funny sometimes; I try to look on the bright side of every bad situation, but at times it hard to find one. I have tried my best to keep my charity going-fund raising and all-nothing seems to work out though. I try to be content with the fact that I have helped people and will be able to help a few more this Christmas...being content isn't always a comfortable position, it quite antagonizing. >>>

Description: This is a charity I started after the death of my Mother to help people that are in need, because my family didn't receive any assistance from government agencies or churches when my Mother was ill. I don't want anyone else to go through what we went experienced, so I decided to turn my negative occurrence into a positive movement to change others lives.

My progress: I have helped 3 families and kids at a behavioral health center, but my dream is to open a shelter/food bank.

This is a one time only expense assistance request for a family of 2 adults & 1 children

My message:Life has been hard for me, but instead of having a pity party I am having a giving party. It is very rewarding when you can make a difference in someone's life...there is no feeling like it. I really want to help others, but my funds have been depleted; please assist me in achieving my goal. I have already helped a few...with your support I can help many!

Description: The McCormick children's Home is in desperate need of very necessary items. They have presented a list to me an requested my assistance.

My progress: I have acquired a few items through local donations, but I still need funds to buy personal hygiene products, kitchen items, etc.

This is a short term need assistance request .

Hi there!  Nice to see you around again.  My holiday was quiet but
pleasant.  The doctor agreed to let my sister stay home for the
holidays rather than admitting her her blood therapy so it was really
nice to be able to have that family gathering.
