Biography
Last year I left and abusive relationship and moved halfway across country on the invite of a friend that I had known for over 15 years. The boys and I were staying with them when the mother of the boys called me stating that she had no place to live, she was going to kill herself, etc, etc. So I sent her a bus ticket to come to us. Big mistake.

A few months later I had to go back home to take care of some of "her" business because she was unable to. Long story short, when I returned she had moved a boyfriend in, told the boys they didn't have to do anything I said and started a fight with me the very night I got home. Sadly, the boys and I ended up at a shelter for a couple of weeks. In that time, my "friend", her husband and my daughter had robbed me of everything I had of any value. Including family heirlooms, coin collections, tools (I like to fix things so I had a lot of tools), electronics, so many sentimental items and even baseball and basketball cards that I had been collecting saving for the boys. As well as many of the boys things. When I was able to get there to get my things I found them trying to sell even my furniture.

Its been a horrendous year for the boys and I having to start over with no family or even friends to turn to. But I am determined to make it through somehow. Please, if you can help with even a dollar that would be such a blessing! If you can't help financially then please share my story with as many people as you can.

If and when I get over this bump I hope to become a donor because I see so many others here with such need. If you can, Commit a Random Act of Kindness today!

Hobbies and Talents :   I love DIY projects and would love to be part of restoring an historic home or building.

Hello Cassiereoni,

I am a little nervous about this whole thing I have always supported
my family in one way or another.  I know when my second son was born
he was so sick and a month early they din not think he would live so I
quit my job as an accountant so I could b with him all the time.  I
had to go on welfare during this 5 year period ans as soon as I got
back to work and on my feet I put all my effort into collecting and
donating to pay back the help I received during that time.  I felt
ashamed as I do now but I am so lost and things are getting worse.
