MicroGiving has established the Cedar Rapids Flood Recovery Fund. This fund will be used to support the immediate needs of flood victims, as well as ongoing clean-up and restoration activities.

My Purpose

MicroGiving is also formulating plans to mobilize a team to assist in the ongoing cleanup and recovery efforts. MicroGiving is coordinating with local and national disaster relief organizations to determine when and how our team can best serve flood victims' needs. Additional information regarding our ongoing flood relief efforts will be provided as details are confirmed.

I'm promoting this on my website and blogs, if people have blogs and
websites, what I did was grab the flood relief button from the front
page and added a link so that people could come to MG to donate.  I
really hope to see this fund grow!  These people need our help.
