Biography

56 year old woman in desperate need of some help.
I lost all of my immediate family(7 members) in the last 5 years including
my husband.

My Purpose

My name is Deanna and I currently live in Arizona.
My story is very hard to write because it brings back so many things I don't like to think about.
Years ago when I was in my 20's my 4 year old son Matthew drowned in Oregon.
I was devastated,my body just shut down and it took me about 3 years before I started to care about my life again.
In 1997 I lost my oldest brother to Lung Cancer,he was only 39 at the time.Things were going pretty well until 2002 when my father had a massive heart attack and passed away in the ER.
10 years after I lost my son Matthew,my husband finally talked me into having another baby.I didn't want to do this because the pain was so great from losing my first son.
I had my second son Joshua in November 1983.
He was a beautiful boy and filled my life with joy.
Everything was great until he started JR. Highschool and I started to notice changes,he was experimenting with drugs.
I quickly enrolled him in counsiling which did not help,he started stealing money from me and his Dad and even friend's.
My husband and I spent thousands of dollars trying to get him help over the next few years but nothing helped.
My son was in and out of rehab and jail so many times I lost count.The last time my son went before the judge,he told him the next time I look up and see you standing there...you are going to prison for 5 years.
3 weeks later my son took a gun from his Dad and shot himself in the head on July 31st 2004
The next day I found out my mother had throat cancer and was terminal.
I moved her into our home and took care of her until she passed away Dec.24th 2004.
One year later on July 9th 2005 I got a call from my sister in law that my only other brother had also taken his own life in Jacksonville, Florida.
He and his wife were having marital problems due to his drinking.
A friend of mine ask me one time if I had ever thought of taking my own life because of all I had been through,I told her NO because I don't believe in that but that if it were possible to die from a broken heart...that I could do.
My husband and I decided to move to get me away from so many of the bad memories over the last few years.
We moved about 150 south of where we had lived for 22 years.
I loved our new home and the quiet area we moved to.
The last day of January 2008 my husband slipped on the ice at work and hurt his left shoulder.He had xrays that showed nothing but the pain became so much he could hardly work.
Finally the doctor sent him in for an MRI,they found a tumor the size of a golf ball in his left shoulder.
We went in for a needle biopsy to see if it was Cancer,it was.
Soon after they diagnosed my husband with Stage 4 Lung Cancer and said that the Cancer had spread to the shoulder which is what caused the tumor and all of the pain.
My husband started radiation treatments soon after and was scheduled for chemo.
My husband never made it to the chemo treatments.He passed away with me at home on June 13th 2008.
When my husband was diagnosed we had no medical insurance because he had just started the new job and it hadn't went into effect yet.
My husband's medical bills were in the thousands of dollars.
As a result of this I lost our home,cars,furniture...everything!
I have been through so much pain in my life and have struggled beyond belief.
I just want to be able to support myself again.

Description: At the time my husband was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer we had no medical insurance and as a result of this I lost everything,our home,cars,furniture,everything. Not only did I lose all my family but everything else as well.

I will be sending my AZ driver's license and some other information.
I pray to God you guys can truly help me.I have been struggling with
what my most urgent need is.
