Biography:
I am the wife of an Army veteran who was injured while serving our country in the Iraq war. He is now disabled and has to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He never complains but he can't get out as much as he would like to.

My Purpose
We need the wheelchair accessable van so that he can go places and have a place for his power chair. WE currently have a mid-sized car and power chair won't fit in there.

I'm surprised as I have always had nothing but excellent and friendly communication on MG. I'm sorry your experience here was not a pleasant one and I do hope you find the help you need to get a van.
From: Rayhawk Apr 22, 2008 05:19:38
I'm not sure what happened friend but I'm sorry you are leaving.

Everyone on MG is asked why they are in need of what they are asking for and what the long term impact will be if that need is met. Is it possible your request was not filled out properly or completely?

I understand the need for a van. I have a bunch of mobility equipment and a midsize car. It just doesn't work. Hopefully we will be getting a trailer soon. I received help from MG but had underestimated the cost so it will take us a bit longer to save up the rest but at least we have a really good head start. I hope you get the van you need. Next year we hope to buy a pick up truck with our income tax refund.
