I have three generations of girls that I have raised alone' AGES 31, 28, Twins 17 and a 10 yr old. Times are tough these days and want them to be able to handle what ever comes their way.I was fortunate to go through my self discovery when i was 30 (50 now).Once I knew who I was and what I wanted -life was good - filled with laughter ,music. and friendship.
My Purpose
My purpose is to try to let my kids to have a memorable Christmas that they would always remember. Thru the years, Christmas came and went.
We didn't have much so there wasn't much to say. This is the last Christmas I am going to have with my twins. 17 now next year adults and off to college if all goes well. I think it would be most awesome if I could bring all my kids and grandkids together. We've never had that happen.

"We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them
as impossible."

~C. Malesherbes~

"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished
by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at
all."

~Dale Carnegie~

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick
boxing. (not a clue!)

Girls are like phones. We love to be held, talked too but if you press
the wrong button you'll be disconnected! (not a clue!)

"We were given: Two hands to hold. Two legs to walk. Two eyes to
see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was
given to someone else. For us to find." - Source Unknown

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have
within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for
the stars to change the world.
Harriet Tubman

Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every
dream precedes the goal.
Pamela Vaull Starr

The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or
even heard, but must be felt with the heart.
       - Helen Keller

Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.
       - John Heywood, sixteenth-century English poet
I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there" and
it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you.

You know its really sucks that these kids have no dad.he had not much
of a work history so they only got 300 each. its not much but helps.
now that their half sister has filed social security is coming back on
us saying we were overpaid 1500 and have it paid back in 30 days or
they will hold future checks until it is paid off.on top of that their
monthly check is being reduced to 200 a month. So i guess we have to
pay for what? She did not file until a month ago.

When a parent dies young (52) and you are still a child is hard, but
imagine that when you have only had them for 10 months. here....then
gone. I never thought my kids would have to deal with that one.
seven months later here we are. Single mom raising her children. They
have did fairly well. It was hard at first and then it proceeded to
good days and bad days fortunately with less of the bad. They dealt
with it and are still dealing with it. They have few memories in that
short time but hold them dear and keep them alive.

My girls dad was released from prison May 2009 after doing ten years.
That's all they knew him was behind bars on visits twice a year.
It was a hard time building their relationship, very hard. He wasn't
going to get father of the year in their eyes just by being there. As
time passed, it got better.
He was trying to better himself by going to college and working
-responsibility he had never had.
Relief for me at times - they could call for dad taxi instead of
always mom.
April 2010, we went to the attorney general to file child support.
Miracles do happen. Does this mean financial help for me. Pinch me
please. Paperwork filed.
Just waiting for DNA results to return.
One week later , he was involved in a tragic auto accident where his
truck hit the back of a school bus. He was killed instantly.
