I am a mother and a wife, my family is my world and our daughter is my life. We are a very close knit family, with a strong bond, we love deeply and offer our friendship freely as life is such a miracle and it is a blessing just to be here each day.
We love the outdoors and nature, we love animals and plants.
My husband is a cook/chef by trade and I am a pastor secretary, we are passionate about life and the things we do reflect that. I am artistic and quiet, he is creative and equally quiet, we are all down-to-earth and sometimes overly nice, but we just love to love and only wish to be loved in return.
Our daughter has a passion for learning and exploring and finds life fascinating. We home school her and have enjoyed the opportunity to help her reach goals and strive to cultivate a well rounded and intelligent adult in the future. |

Our dream is for self-sufficiency. Our short term goal is to get a handle of our immediate situation and make strides to reach our dream and not fall back to where we currently are.
In the past month, I was able to cut our debt in half and change our way of life enough to save money each month by cutting back everything which is not absolutely necessary.
We are working towards our goal, but still need a boost up to get us over the hurdle we still face. We are currently living on one income, mine. My husband was recently laid off due to our slow summer season and being a new hire he was first to go. We are working with 3 different employment placing agencies as well as scanning the internet and local papers for openings and placing our own ads where possible.
I am working hard everyday to provide for us and keep our heads above the water, but we still fall short. The help we seek is our final request as this is the last push we will ever need. With a bit of help keeping us going for the next month or two, by then we will have our dream within reach and under our power be able to grasp it.

Description: We have overcome much in the last year, we finished the immigration process for my husband, he is now proud to be permanently part of the USA. His family disowned him when he was 16, this is his only known home. We then knew we could set our eyes upon our lifelong dream of being self sufficient and be not a burden by an asset to society.
We have worked hard the last few months working towards that goal, yet we still fall a bit short. With one last push we will be able to reach for that dream under our own power. We are down to one income and find it hard to have our ends meet, therefore working towards our goal is on the back burner, with a bit of help we will make it. We also want to be able to help others who are like us. |
