Biography
Hi, my name is Lois.
I am a full-time mother of 4.
I love working with teens.
I hope to be a role-model to them.
I also love writing poetry, camping, fishing,
spending time with family, and making new friends.
I consider myself a well-rounded individual. I enjoy creating on so many different levels. I love creating graphics, and I love to write poetry. I earned a BS in Criminal Justice recently, and graduated with honors.
I love different types of subjects. My favorites are: criminological theory, poetry, and philosophy.
I wish for many things:
I wish for hunger to end, and peace for everyone.
I hope to be a role-model and advocate for children.
I hope that child abuse, elderly abuse, and domestic abuse will one day become a problem of the past.
I wish for many things, but I mainly wish that when I die, I would have made some sort of impact, somehow, and in some special way.
My main goal in life is to die knowing that those who loved me, respected who I was as a person, and are proud to say they knew me....
My Purpose
My purpose is to, give of my heart and time freely, and hope that in the end, people will have seen the good in me.....

I've set up some goals for myself for the coming year.
-To get my license back, I let them go dead (crazy on my part).
-Get my health back on track.
-Get a job that I'm able to perform, enjoy, and one that fulfills me.
Those are my main goals for 2010. I will be working hard to achieve each one individually. I spent a couple years feeling really sorry for myself, because of my health etc. I've realized through talks with friends and people who love me, just how much I have to offer to the world. I've been letting myself down. I'm very artistic and outgoing, and have been letting all this medical stuff control me. I'm taking a stand this New Year and getting my life back.
I want to be able to give back in bigger ways this year, as well. Last year was a doozy and if it weren't for some loving, compassionate, caring, understanding and generous people, I don't know what I would have done.
I look forward to reaching for new goals this >>>
Description: My daughter means the world to me, but lives in another state. She will be graduating at the end of May, and I want to make sure I am there. She is my oldest, and the first of my children to graduate. I want so badly to make sure I am there to watch her on one of the happiest and most rewarding days of her life. I know if I do not make a wish for this, this may not happen. I am wishing for enough money to get a round-trip bus ticket, motel room for 2 days, and for food while there. Any help in making this wish come true for her and me, will be gratefully accepted and so appreciated. I’m really not sure how much this will cost, so I wasn’t completely sure how much to request. Thank you to everyone who may donate to help me make this happen for us both.

Why? The potential long term impact..
The long-term impact is that my daughter will
be graduating, and I know she would be hurt if
I wasn’t there for her. Realistically, this
will not stop her from working toward her
dreams, but not being there would have a
negative impact on her.

Help Getting Back to Work
Description: About 5 years ago my Drivers License expired, because I didn't have all my
identification documents that were needed at the time. Eventually, I bought all of them
and when we moved to Virginia 2 years ago to care for my inlaws, those documents were
misplaced. I need a DL or State ID in order to work. I also just enrolled into college
to get a Digital Design Diploma, and need to provide a valid ID, the state ID I currently
have, went dead in April. I need to get a Birth Certificate, Marriage License and Divorce
Papers from my ex-husband, as well as, marriage license to my husband now. I have to show
all my name changes and why my name changed over the years. Any help with paying to get
these documents would help in me two ways. I can't obtain work without a valid Id,
and I need it for school. Also, I really need a Driver's License.
My progress: At this time, I have not made any progress getting these documents, I just haven't
had the extra money to obtain them.
This is a one time only expense assistance request for a family of 2 adults & 3 children
My message:Any help with this would be gratefully accepted.
Thank you, Lois
