One of my hobbies is to get completely, 100% immersed in a particular project, task or subject. Its usually as a result of coming across old memorable, watching some movie, or reading a book based on a true story. Lately, I've been totally into my "list". About a month ago I can across my old journal which had "My List" My list of everything i want to do in my lifetime. Since then, I have been actively completing the list like crazy! I've gone skydiving, saw a night space shuttle launch, witnesses a full-lunar eclipse, visited New Orleans, walked the lower 9th ward and made a donation to the "Common Ground Relief" organization. Now I'm planning my trip to the NY!!!
Profile tips:
1. Headline: Shorter headlines are punchier and easier to read (Do not use all caps!)
2. Profile Photo: A profile with at least 1 real photo receives 5X as much attention as a profile without. Use your photo to grab attention and then use your others to tell more of your story and why someone should be delighted with an opportunity to help you. If you have children and/or pets, include a photo with them. Show photos that engage you and who you are.
3.Biography: The purpose of your bio is to report on your life in an informative and interesting manner. You need to engage your readers and at the end of your biography, your readers should feel that they know who you are on a personal level. This is not to tell the readers why you need help or why they should help you. First, start to tell the reader about some of your accomplishments, something interesting that you’ve achieved in your life, and any of your interests & hobbies. Once you’ve developed an connection with your readers, then give them a brief biographical tid-bit, like.. Where you grew up, where you live and with whom.
