| I am 29 years old. My second marriage to a very wonderful man and a great dad to my 3 kids. My oldest, Marc just turned 11. Then there is Caleb, he is 9. And Gabi, she is 7 going on 17 LOL!!! I was born and raised in Texas and now I live in Illinois. My kids were also born in Texas. My husband, Bobby was a Marine for 10 years. He is the 4th best thing that has happened to me. The first 3 are my kids. I have had a very hard life, my whole life. My mother was a crack addict for over 20 years, she even tried to sell me for crack. That is when I left home. My father passed away when I was 19, 10 days after my birthday. He was walking down a highway and was hit by a woman who was "playing with her radio." My oldest was 3 months old. My ex husband (sperm donor of my kids) is the definition of a dead beat dat!! He didn't have anything to do with the kids for 5 years after I left him. My daughter was 5 1/2 before she ever met him. He never even bothered to call and see how they were. Then all of a sudden he tries to sue me for sole custody. What a joke, the judge laughed at him. He is court ordered to pay $166 a month that I rarely get. The kids have to go to Texas every summer to spend 45 days with him. But they stay with his parents not him. They are there for Father's Day but he does not even have them on that day. He calls them maybe once every 2 weeks and talks to all 3 for a total of about 7 minutes. My husband wants to adopt them but my ex says "over his dead body" but yet he don't want to help take care of them. That is ok though because they know who their "dad" is. We have 5 pets!! 3 cats, Sparkplug,Glowplug (my husband named these two) and Bernie. I got Bernie 1 week after my grandmother passed away from cancer. Her name was Bernice and everyone called her Bernie. 2 dogs, Booger is my oldest's dog and my baby Bruno a rat terrier. We have our house very full. LOL |

Unexpected Illness

| Expense: Gas for one week and for the tags for our van. |

| Description: As some of you know my hubby has been out of work since May 12. He is getting a very small worker's comp check 2x a month, but that barely covers the bills. We are in need of help with gas money for just one week, and for the tags for our van. We just can't make it right now. It is $129 for gas for 1 week of physical therapy 3x a week and to go to the knee specialist. The tags for the van are $78. If you Google Fairfield, IL to Mt. Vernon, IL and then Fairfield, IL to Centralia, IL you can see the miles that we have to drive every week. If you need proof of our tags I can scan the paper and just black out our DL #'s and VIN #. |
