I am 31 years old. I have 2 sons, Benjamin 11, and Joey 2months. Me and my wonderful Boyfriend live in Saint Augustine. We have been threw a lot in the past few months. My son Joey was born prematurely at 29 weeks gestation. He was born at Flaggler Hospital in St. Augustine, but rushed to Baptist Medical in Jacksonville. He was on a ventilator and the in a incubator. He has BPD and a few other complications. We have been staying at the Ronald Macdonald house next to the hospital. We are running out of time here.
My Purpose
I have realized on how special life can be. It is not just who you are it is what you do, and what you do for others. When there is a small child that needs just a small hug it can mean so much and even touch can have the power to make a weak baby stronger. We live every day and worry about materialistic things like even gas and it is our children our future we should be thinking about. There are so many horror stories about children not even having a chance, but I think it is time for us to help them. I mean what can a innocent child do to anyone. Please take it from a mother who is worrying everyday how her baby is going to do if his little precious heart or even lungs are developed enough to be sent out in this world. I don't want to have to worry about war, money, or even if someone is going to harm him. I just want a safe world were we can nurture a child and protect them from the cruelness of this world!!

Description: I just wanted to start by saying thank you to everyone here. We are now living in Ohio with Jay's father. We are moving into a apartment in a few weeks. We are down to nothing when we move. We need all the help we can get for furniture and household items. We have a air mattress and a few items for Joey. He still needs a crib or pack and play. Even if someone can donate some pots and pans and bedding just so we can get started. We have a few weeks to come up with some items and we have been going to the local charities but can't seem to get anything and local churches. We are very grateful for this web site and all it helps with.
