Biography

My name is Rachael, I've been married for 10 years to Bill. We live in Western NYS with our 2 teenage boys, and our cat. I work part time as a Medical Secretary, and my hubby works full time (and then some) as a restaurant manager.
Our oldest son Zak, 18, has been accepted to culinary arts college in Rhode Island. He'll graduate from high school in June and leave for college in September.
Our younges son Luke, almost 15, is still in high school, and enjoys skateboarding.

My Purpose

I'm here to get a little help. We do fairly well for ourselves, but we are strugging and hoping for a miracle to help us pay for our son's first year of college. We've applied for and received a financial aid and scholarships, and have applied for student and parent loans and more scholarships to cover the remaining balance of $17,000.
But, we need some help. Now that I understand how much work goes into finding scholarships and help to pay for college, I'm prepared to do so for his next 3 years of college. In the meantime, I'm afraid we may come up short this year, and I'm panicked about that. I don't sleep at night thinking about it. I stay up for hours on end applying for all the scholarships I can find.
If there is someone, anyone out there who can help, even with a little money, believe me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Need Help Paying Son's College Tuition

Description: My son has been accepted to JWU in Providence, RI. We have applied for & recieved about $17,000 in financial aid & scholarships. We are still $17,000 short for his first years tuition. I have applied for parent & student loans, and more scholarships, but it's already May and I have to have all my financing in place by July 1st.
