Biography
My name is Sara, I moved to Arizona in April of 09 to live closer to my daughter. I am on disability for many reasons physically and mentally, I suffer from sever osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease and osteoporosis and depression. I also have Hepatitis C in which I will be getting treatment for and that will be taking about 48 weeks of chemo. I am looking forward to finishing the treatment and managing my pain with the Dr here in Arizona, they have been super and I have a lot of hope to be able to function at a higher level and return to work. Hep C treatment is 48 weeks, not cosecutive either so it may be just a bit longer than a year depending on if I get too ill and they need to stop it for a while. Well in moving here I am also adjusting to the heat, that is difficult but the blue sky is helping my depression
Description: I am on a fixed income and do not have enough for payments or savings. I am hoping to be
able to return to work and when I do I will be in need of a car, it gets too hot in
Arizona for me with my disabilities to walk and wait for the bus outside when it is 110
plus degrees outside. I make what I have work, but there is no room for any extra, ever.
Every penny counts. I get blessed from my friends now and then with some cash, to get the
things I usually can not, like lotions or make up, which I do not have now either. But
when my friends do help, it comes in just when I need it the most, like when I need toilet
paper or detergemts etc. I do not know what else to say except that I want to make it on
my own and be independant, independence really helps with depression, it also helps with
the shame and humility of asking for help at times for food or other necessities.
