I read your blog. I'm scared of the swine flu, too. It's not even in
Florida yet. I keep reminding my son to wash his hands. I have really
bad vibes about this. They said on TV, " drugs are coming in now
and, hopefully, in months they will come up with a cure." Scary

Thank you so much! I'm not getting very much response from people...
but whether there are 5 or 50 I'm going to do my best.

Thanks for the welcome! Myself and 2 partners started a doodle rescue
to aid
finding homes for our beautiful dogs who await in
shelters. We need to get our 501c3 Non-Profit Status
and we are on our way. We have been supporting this
rescue ourselves and would like to expand across North
America and need donations to do so.

I lived in Winston-Salem for 10 years. It's where I moved from when I
came to Asheville. I worked at Baptist Hospital in the trauma ICU.
That is where I met my wonderful husband! 

I know all too well... I am 52 years old, married when I was 15,
started a family right away, 4 babies before my 20th birthday. No job
skills, no education, no family support. I had been adopted by a
widowed great-aunt who died when I was 16, shortly after the birth of
my first child. I spent 21 years figuring out that this was not God's
plan for my life. Much to late to break the cycle in my own family but
perhaps I can help someone else before it's too late. 131 people in NC
lost their lives in 2008 at the hand of someone who claimed to
"love" them. I'll get off my soapbox for a while.. thanks
for listening!
