Biography
Taking one day at a time, and making the best out of each of them! I look forward to making many friends here at Microgiving! It's my wish that someday we will be able to to pay it forward and help others. I joined Microgiving, hoping that someone out there could help my family, and that others would want to become friends. I'm a good listener, loyal friend and hopefully someone can confide in. My family is my rock and without them, I would be nothing. I used to be a cook, until Lupus entered my life. I enjoy playing cards and my online friends. My husband means the world to me, I truly beleive that we were meant to be married and to always be there for one another. Please feel free to add me as a friend.

Story
I am a 35 year old mother of two great kids who are 12 and 16. My husband, Tom and I have been married for almost 17 years. We live in a small Northwest Ohio town. We usually do ok for ourselves, but with gas prices as high as they are, and other hardships that have come up, we are having a really hard time right now. Tom does get SS, but I do not at this time. We can not afford our meds, gas and groceries while trying to maintain our utilities and house payments. I look forward to making new friends and sharing our lives with you.

Our goal is to work hard at getting back on our feet, this includes obtaining insurance for our family and if nessacary, file for disibility on my behalf. I so badly wanted to go back to work, but my health is beginning to tell me that this may not be possible. I love working as a cook, it's a pure passion of mine. It's been a long while since I have had the chance to do so because of the Lupus and other medical issues.
Our goals include becoming more stable finanically and enjoying the time we have together. To share our expierence with others and help when we can, even if it's only a bit at a time.

Please read my blogs and bio to learn more about me and my wonderful family.

I had a very nice weekend. The climate isn't too bad where I am from. Sorry to hear you are enduring a hot and humid climate. I wouldn't appreciate that either.

Everything is moving along slowly, but I can't complain. I have a lot of people counting on me right now and I really want to come through for them. I hope your life is a little less hectic than mine!

Keep cool :) Trying. Oh today was so humid. I got a text message from a friend in Louisiana to remind me to stay hydrated. Good thing she sent me the text, I was too busy worrying about making sure animals had water, I didn't stop to drink any myself!

Thanks Sheeri, She is just waiting to see her Dr on 14 Jul to see if he will let her come back out and drive with me. We drive a Tractor Trailer around this great country. She is so bored. Thanks so much for keeping us in your thoughts, that is so nice. Hope you and all are doing ok. Thanks Rick

Sherri, I was so happy to hear the good news! God is good! So much has been going on that I havent had any time to talk to anyone and I just wanted you to know that your family has been on my mind a lot. I dont know if I told you, but Pats petscan came back normal and he decided not to undergo chemo. I hope he continues to stay cancer free. Good luck Sherri and family!
