Wes The Guitarist Jul 13, 2009 07:59:49
Hi my name is Wes, I'm in a band First Class Social. We are from
Fayetteville Wv. You may listen to our music on our myspace
Myspace.com/firstclasssocial).

To sum everything up. This is our story. We all came from the same
page when it came to music we all love to play, we all have a dream of
becoming something big. We continue to run into the same problems.
Over the past few months we have spent $200.00 on recording that have
mad little to impact on what we are trying to get out of this. In
order to make it in the music business these days. You must have your
sounds published in a professional way. So everyone can hear the music
we have created in the right form.

We have tried this path by ourselves before and ran into the same
problem over and over. We need a good sound. When we got recorded last
it cost us 150 for 1 song. This song winded up being a low quality
sound that is hard for us to listen to more then a few times. The
music just piles together. There are a few studios around here that
can give us the sound we need. They will cost us around $1,200 for a
full length cd.
We can't afford it because only one of us has a job and they work at
Wal-mart so we're not bringing in much. I am in college and have paid
out of my own pocket. Our drummer also our bass player will be
attending college in the fall. So we will not have any income what so
ever to just lay down for the band.

Before you ask "Yes, we play shows. We play them all the time.
The only default is we get about $20.00 a show and that goes to gas
money to make it there. People are buying merch which has currently
given us a $23 profit. We can't get what we need to make it out of
either one of those. We have chatted with signed bands such as:
Underoath, Escape the Fate, Killswitch Engage, This or The Apocalypse,
and We Came as Romans. They all have told us that the only way we will
get heard to make it to the next level is to get a professional
recording.

Here is a little bit about ourselves just so you know we are content.
We have opened for Signed bands such as Life Ruiner(life force), This
or The Apocalypse(life force), Heal These Wounds (hot foot), and Arise
and Ruin (victory).

We have a music review coming out on August 10th from High wire Daze
magazine in Hollywood CA. Who covers huge bands. We got ranked 24th
out of 378 bands to play in the Vans Warped tour at Va Beach.

Over the past 9 months of this we have bought ourselves professional
equipment required to sound good live. Guitar amps, guitars, drums,
and a wonderful PA system that we are still in debt for.

We are asking because we simply can't do it ourselves. To help us make
a cd and take our music to the next level. Please give us the chance
to follow our dreams it can happen, in fact I promise it will.

We will give who ever help us with this a free copy of the cd so you
know we are legit. Just e-amil me at firstclasssocial@gmail.com or
message us on myspace "myspace.com/firstclasssocial"

Thank you all so much for helping we will not forget you!

Help our dream.

Thank you so much for understanding and taking part in our dream of a
safe and self sustaining homestead. As you have read, it's not
exactly what we had planned, but it's a goal we can reach and our
family thanks you for helping us to reach that goal.
