Biography
I was born in Arkansas and swiftly moved to Florida. I lived in over 15 states by the time I was 13 years old as a migrant worker, and yes at age 6 I started helping in the fields and picking crops to help support our family of 7, and then in off school season I also did it til I was 13 when I was left for foster care. I was split from my 4 siblings and 25 years later not one of us children are close to the other. In fact we live in 4 different locations in the U.S.. Once I went into foster care I went to 11 foster homes and 11 different high schools in the next 4 years until I went on Independent living through the state of Iowa -where I went to High school and worked at a fast food restaurant and paid my own way. I couldnt afford it so I had to quit High School as a senior and work full time to "make my way" but I later (at age 29) was finally able to get my G.E.D. but before I started finally getting my life straight- I got pregnant at 18 (I was a virgin) and gave up my 5 month old baby when I was 19 to a family who has raised her- and now she is 19 and we met via internet last year. I waited and struggled until I found the "right" family and relinquished my love to them and left Florida from the pain for MidAmerica and never returned.
I had many hard depressing years after that, but I faced them with a smile and my chin up.
In all my years previous not one person pulled me to the side and said," make sure you keep your credit good" and no one talked about the facts of life, or tried to bond with me, I was soooo full of love and life and had no friends from moving so much, no roots to cling to in any geographical location, and I wanted more but I didnt know what "more" was until I met my husband.
At the age of 35 I got with my dear husband to be, yes I floated through life confused and waiting for 16 years until I found him and now we are married with
two beautiful children that are almost 2 and 3 years old.
Life makes so much sense now. Like something clicked. I dont care about my geographical location, or friends I dont have, or money I dont have, my most precious gifts and blessings are in my husband and children. My world is complete. Now........
Im a blast. Im a fun mom, always looking for the next laugh! I have one goal in life now, and thats to make sure my children have a "childhood" I was never given, to be kids as long as they can before they go out into the world and "make their own". I teach them to say please and thank you, and to consider others feelings and to enjoy every minute possible. They ARE only 1 and 2 lol, but you would be amazed at thier wordly knowledge already.
Im a stay at home mom, the ambassador to the world to my children, a very important job indeed!!! To take two human lives and teach them the world as I want them to see it, its a good thing I have had lots of experience and have an open mind!
I want only one thing now from life, to see them grow into caring individuals with as many questions answered fairly as to not prejudice ANYONE from any walk of life or ethnic background, or handicap. My children will be knowledgeable of as much as I can express to them and not just "opinionated".
My dear husband is a letter carrier and he works many hours to pay all our bills and he is a wonderful man, awesome husband, adoring father, and gives more than he could ever think of taking. He works in the blistering heat and tepid weather, and just loves the other two seasons as long as the dogs stay off his heels!

My Purpose

Recent changes in my life : We just miscarried our 3rd child. We just had several garnishments line up to take up to 30% of our income. We just bought our house/land last year and are struggling with our mortgage from garnishments now. Jimmy just had his 3rd seizure last week, he is only 3. School is coming up and we are having a hard time getting him his necessitites. Wishuponahero angels have helped buy us some food, or gas, or jimmy backpack for school.

What is the most embarrassing thing youve ever done? Only one? HAHA, we would be here all day! Trial and error, we learn from our mistakes and take nastalgia to the future, and Ill leave it at that.
Hobbies and Talents : I played drums in middle school for a couple years in band, because it was the instrument that didnt cost anything, but it did teach me rhythym and helped me later to self teach myself piano, and I can pick up just about any instrument and play by ear, very musically inclined, and have a wonderful singing voice.
List achievements and any future educational plans : I would love to be a nurse, an r.n. in fact but not because I am natured at taking care of people and would be awesome at it, but becuase there are r.n. positions that pay extremely well and the knowledge would be great to have while raising children.

Its been awhileIm sitting here at 318 am and Im not tired. Most of my online friends are in bed and Im bored. The first frost may hit tonight, so we picked all the veggies we coulf from the garden that we knew would not survive a frost and now my kitchen is full of tomatoes and such lol. I fried up some fresh summer squash and had that as my meal and it was delicious, Im gonna miss it when it runs out of the deep freeze. Ive managed to bag about 20 one gallon freezer baggies full of veggies in the freezer right now, not including the stuff we've been eating over the summer daily, its really gonna hurt the wallet when they run out in a couple months and we have to start buying veggies again :( .
There are so many wonderful people here at microgving, most of whom I ve lost touch with, but I blame that on summer which has pulled many out of their houses and I know they will be back in full force once the weather makes them stay inside again.

Description: We have several garnishments coming through currently taking 15% or more of our income and
cutting us short on getting our house and car payments made. We are barely getting enough
food on the table, and we have another lil one coming in January. We are in overdraft and
in fear of the bank closing our account.
My progress: My husband is working 11-12 hours days to make more money, but it just isnt catching us
up. We are selling any assets we cannot use/need, we even have a boat up for sale, trying
to get the $ needed to get caught up.
This is a short term need assistance request for a family of 2 adults & 2 children

Description: Just wanting to get about 4 or 5 outfits to wear that are summer clothing, a few shorts and a few tops. All other things in my life are taken care of, food, mortgage, utilities, medical, etc etc, need only clothes, and its rare to find size 26 ANYTHING as it just doesn't exist second hand! ~Update~ I received one outfit from the combination of two wishuponahero heroes- one donated a "code" for $10 off woman within and I bought a clearance pair of pants I will sew into shorts on my sewing machine and a shirt, for $8.86 total and- the second hero donated $10 so the outfit was free. That's one outfit total so I would still like about 4 more outfits to last through the summer!

Help a child laugh and be a kid!
Description: We are a family that struggle from payday to payday. We are fortunate enough to pay all of our life's needs out of our own pocket with no help from State or Federal help. We have a mortgage and when things go wrong with the house we have to pay ourselves to fix it if we can. We are currently going thru a credit settlement firm (Clear Your Debt www.cydebt.com) and pay a monthly fee to settle with all our creditors and be debt free within 3 years . My husband was demoted at his job of 13 years due to cutbacks, and then within a months time we found out we had a little one on the way! To make a long story short, we had lost 50% income, had more bills than we could pay and just got lost in life and the fight to put food on the table.
Well we gotten ourselves squared away where we can manage paycheck to paycheck most times, and with the help of my dear in-laws whom I love so much, we have hope of just staying above water but not treading so to speak lol.
We do not get the privilege..

Description: Its simple, Ive taken the path of motherhood 3 years ago & Ive given unto them all I have. My kids have everything. We don't get welfare, (would if we qualified lol) we pay our own medical, dental, vision, copays, deductibles, no WIC, all our domestic bills, AFTER everything comes out of our own pocket, we probably make less than those getting aid HA, how ironic. EVERYONE reading this knows exactly what I mean, when our children came, you gave unto them, and took the backseat to your own needs. Well I looked in the mirror about a month ago and didn't recognize the woman looking back at me. Ive so lost myself in motherhood. I don't have any extra $ after we pay everything out of our own pocket. I have one pair of good pants that I wear when I take the kids to doctors and such.
