i am a mother of 2 and married. i sell avon for a living a raise money for cancer patients. we are looking for as much in donations as we can to help cure patients.
My Purpose
I joined because I was referred by a friend. And to come here and receive and give help to the people that need it. I hope to enjoy it and meet new people.

Description: We are a family of 4. I lost my out of home job in november 2008. we can barely pay bills
let alone rent. we currently owe $1206 to rent and have to come up with $600 by the end of
the month or we get evicted. my 2 kids are 1 yrs old and 3 yrs old. please help us not get
evicted. every penny counts. thx
My progress: my progress so far is low. i have been out looking for a job since i lost my old one. have
had interviews but no luck.

What local/other agencies have you contacted?: CAP, Section 8, HUD, Catholic Charities, Slavation Army
Did you get denial letters? (if so are they attached to your request?): salvation army paid $200 but the rest said no. we dont get any help from cap til november this year.
What other sources of income do you or your family receive?: my husband is the only one working.

Description: We received our electric bill the other day of $850 and we did indeed go get help, but unfortunately Energy Assistance only paid $200 and we could only pay $100 ourselves. We have to come up with $450 to keep our electric on (and the keep the kids warm.) We have looked everywhere else for help and haven't been able to find anything. Please help us.
